Alliance Tower Defense Squad Planner
Rate the units you actually own on four transparent axes and let the planner rank your candidates — anchored by the four-role checklist every working squad fills.
Start from roles, not rarities
A squad plan is a role checklist before it is a unit list. Every mode from Easy City to Endless rewards the same shape: one carry you fund to maximum, one early-DPS unit that protects the carry's ramp, one economy unit paying match cash every wave, and late coverage for crowds and bosses. The planner below scores your candidates on damage, coverage, utility, and cost efficiency with published weights — enter what you own and what you have observed, and let the math break ties.
Compare your candidates
Use only your current observations. Roles and ratings are your planning labels, not official classifications or a fixed ranking.
Match focus focus: Does it reflect the same player-observed match conditions?
How the score works
Damage × 0.35; coverage × 0.25; utility × 0.25; cost efficiency × 0.15. Role labels do not add a bonus.
Candidate 2
Ratings start visually at 3 but remain incomplete until you set each one.

Carry
The unit you fund to maximum first — Camera Man early, a Titan or Mythic later. One maxed body beats five half-upgraded ones.
Camera Man → Titan Camera Man → Titan Speaker Man 2.0 / 10M units
Early DPS
Cleans the front of early waves while your economy comes online, so the carry's upgrades never starve.
Large Scientist Camera Man (also heals the base and slows)
Economy
Generates match cash every wave. Place it in the first few waves so it pays for the rest of the match.
Scientist Camera Man (50 → 600$ per wave)
Late coverage
Handles what the carry cannot: crowds, fast splits, or bosses. AOE and slow effects belong here.
TV Woman (AOE + burn), Party Camera Man (splash), DJ Speaker Man (aura)

Budget Insane (PeaceBringer, YouTube)
- • Carry: Titan Speaker Man — the funded max
- • Early DPS + coverage: Plunger Camera Man and Large TV Man
- • Economy: none — the budget replaces income with cheap maxes
Lesson: at low rosters, three maxes beat five roles.
Crazy party comp (Exotic, YouTube)
- • Carries: Upgraded Titan Camera Man + Titan Speaker Man 2.0
- • Support: DJ Speaker Man aura (+25% damage)
- • Coverage: TV Woman (slow + AOE for splitting paths)
- • Early waves: Dark Speaker Man
Lesson: with income solved, every slot buys tempo.
Planner questions
How many units should a squad have?
Equip five, but fund one at a time. A working squad fills four roles (carry, early DPS, economy, late coverage) with the fifth slot flexible — a second carry for Crazy's splitting paths, or a support aura like DJ Speaker Man.
What ratings should I enter?
Your own 1–10 observations on four axes: damage, coverage, utility, and cost efficiency. The planner weights damage 35%, coverage 25%, utility 25%, cost efficiency 15% and shows the transparent math — it is a personal planning score, not an official ranking.
Which unit goes in the core slot?
The unit you will max first this match. Early game that is Camera Man (250$ to max); later it is whatever Mythic or event carry you have funded. If two candidates tie, pick the cheaper max — an unmaxed stronger unit loses to a maxed weaker one.
