Carry
The unit you fund to maximum first — Camera Man early, a Titan or Mythic later. One maxed body beats five half-upgraded ones.
Camera Man → Titan Camera Man → Titan Speaker Man 2.0 / 10M units
How to build a team in Alliance Tower Defense!: the four role archetypes, place-then-max doctrine, funnel placement, and community loadouts for Easy through Endless — checked 2026-10-15.
Every working Alliance Tower Defense! team fills the same four roles: a carry you fund to maximum, an early-DPS unit that clears the front of waves while the carry ramps, an economy unit paying match cash every wave, and late coverage for crowds and bosses. Match cash is personal per run and lobby Coins are a separate wallet, so team building is really two budgets. The doctrine below — place-then-max, funnel placement, Auto Skip discipline — is consistent across the community strategy guide and multiple creator videos, and it explains why a maxed Uncommon Camera Man beats an unfunded Mythic.
Fill these before worrying about rarity. Each role answers a different failure mode of a run.
The unit you fund to maximum first — Camera Man early, a Titan or Mythic later. One maxed body beats five half-upgraded ones.
Camera Man → Titan Camera Man → Titan Speaker Man 2.0 / 10M units
Cleans the front of early waves while your economy comes online, so the carry's upgrades never starve.
Large Scientist Camera Man (also heals the base and slows)
Generates match cash every wave. Place it in the first few waves so it pays for the rest of the match.
Scientist Camera Man (50 → 600$ per wave)
Handles what the carry cannot: crowds, fast splits, or bosses. AOE and slow effects belong here.
TV Woman (AOE + burn), Party Camera Man (splash), DJ Speaker Man (aura)
From the community strategy guide, consistent with creator match commentary.
Put one unit down and max it before placing anything else. Upgrades multiply damage; extra placements split the same match cash across weaker bodies.
Put the carry on the pad closest to the lane chokepoint (a corner or narrow bridge the enemies must pass). Range then covers the whole approach.
Match cash upgrades in-match units; lobby Coins buy Summons and nothing else. Never budget one against the other.
Enable Auto Skip only after your first unit is maxed. If a skipped wave outruns your upgrades, toggle it off, spend, and re-enable. Starting a run with Auto Skip on and zero upgrades is the classic beginner loss.
Add a second unit only when its upgrades do not starve the carry's max. If the carry finishes late because of it, the second pad was a leak.

| Mode | Team | Credit | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Easy / Medium (solo farm) | 1× Camera Man (maxed) + Auto Skip | Fan strategy guide | The documented Coins loop: 1-player Easy City, place one Camera Man on the funnel, max it, then skip everything. |
| Insane (budget) | Plunger Camera Man + Large TV Man + Titan Speaker Man | PeaceBringer (YouTube) | A cheap three-unit clear described as requiring no event or Robux units. |
| Crazy (solo) | 10M TV Woman as the core; add Titan Cinema Man to clear faster | Cero (YouTube, "Easiest Way to Beat Crazy Mode") | Shows Cinema is optional — the 10M unit does the heavy lifting. |
| Crazy (party, sub-7-minutes) | Upgraded Titan Camera Man + Titan Speaker Man 2.0 (DPS), DJ Speaker Man (support), TV Woman (slow + AOE), Dark Speaker Man (early waves) | Exotic (YouTube) | Role-divided five-slot comp built around the Crazy map's splitting paths. |
| Insane Endless (leaderboard) | Fully maxed roster; duo runs have reached 200+ waves | Lancer × ottonpc / MeddysonTD (YouTube) | Endless punishes any unmaxed slot — "an unmaxed S-tier fails faster than a maxed B-tier." |
The best team is role-divided, not rarity-stacked: one maxed carry, an early-DPS unit that protects the carry's ramp, an economy unit (Scientist Camera Man), and late coverage with AOE or a support aura. A five-role Crazy composition from a community creator runs Upgraded Titan Camera Man + Titan Speaker Man 2.0 (DPS), DJ Speaker Man (support), TV Woman (slow + AOE), and Dark Speaker Man (early waves).
Fewer than you think. Place one unit and max it before adding anything else — extra placements split the same match cash across weaker bodies. Add a second unit only when its upgrades will not starve the carry's max.
On the pad closest to the funnel — the corner or narrow section every enemy must pass. Range from that pad covers the whole approach, which is why placement beats raw DPS early.
No. Roles do. A Mythic you cannot afford to max this match is, as one community guide puts it, storage rather than a win condition — a maxed Uncommon Camera Man outperforms an unfunded Titan.
Alliance Tower Defense!'s developer has not published official stat tables, summon rates, or patch notes. This site therefore documents community knowledge with the source and checked date attached to every table, and we mark anything a publisher has not confirmed as community-documented. When a source conflicts (as code trackers regularly do), we show both sides instead of picking a winner.
