Alliance Tower Defense Progression Guide: Easy to Endless

The Alliance Tower Defense! progression ladder in order: Easy City farming, the Medium and Hard checkpoints, Crazy mode, the Insane Scientist Crate economy, the Mythic chase, and Endless leaderboard runs.

Quick answer: climb by Coin rewards, not by map art

Every mode in Alliance Tower Defense! exists to pay you: Easy 100 Coins, Medium 275, Hard 500, Crazy 1,000 plus a Spin Ticket, Insane 850 plus a Scientist Crate, Endless scaling plus a leaderboard. Progression is the discipline of farming whichever mode you can clear on autopilot, banking Coins, and probing exactly one rung up at a time. The two long-term goals are the Mythic carry (Titan Speaker Man 2.0, 0.1% summon rate with a documented 1,000 pity) and the Endless leaderboard — and both are funded by the same farming loop. Checked 2026-10-15.

What each rung pays

Mode rewards are community-documented, checked 2026-10-15.

RungReward per clearGate to the next rung
Easy (City)100 CoinsOne maxed Camera Man clears it — this is your farm, not a gate.
Medium (Wild Desert)275 CoinsA second maxable unit or any Epic carry.
Hard (Canyon Bridge)500 CoinsTwo-lane coverage: a carry per lane or strong AOE, plus economy.
Crazy1,000 Coins + 1 Spin TicketAOE for splitting paths; the Spin Tickets fund the DJ Speaker Man hunt.
Insane (Camera Lab)850 Coins + 1 Scientist CrateThe checklist in our Insane guide; enemies hit 3x after the August 10 rebalance.
Insane EndlessScaling Coins + leaderboardA fully maxed roster — every unmaxed slot caps your wave ceiling.
Checkpoint plan

The five progression checkpoints

Work these in order. Each one converts the previous farm into permanent account power.

  1. Checkpoint 1 — Automate Easy City

One maxed Camera Man, Auto Skip after the first max, solo queue. When you can watch the reward screen without watching the match, this mode is your mint.

  2. Checkpoint 2 — Bank your first 5,000 Coins

That is five 10-pulls plus reserve. Pull in bulk (850 per 10, 15% cheaper), Auto Sell duplicates, and keep the rarity odds in mind: half your pulls will be Basic, and that is normal.

  3. Checkpoint 3 — Clear the Medium/Hard checkpoint

Medium is a one-lane step up; Canyon Bridge (Hard) is the first real coverage test with two lanes. Clear each solo before touching party queue — party match cash is personal, so a carry you cannot fund is dead weight.

  4. Checkpoint 4 — Enter the Insane crate economy

Insane pays 850 Coins plus a Scientist Crate per clear. A handful of clears guarantees Scientist Camera Men (95% crate rate), whose 600$-per-wave income at max unlocks every later team. Crazy's Spin Tickets run in parallel toward DJ Speaker Man (5% wheel rate).

  5. Checkpoint 5 — The Mythic chase and Endless

With the economy online, target the Mythic: 0.1% per pull, documented 1,000 pity, 1,250 DPS at max. Overlap farm sessions with X2 title windows, then take the finished roster to Endless — community duo runs exceed 200 waves, and the Endless leaderboard is the game's endgame. A 850 Coins 10-pull is the unit of effort; the resource calculator turns any goal into a clear count.

FAQ

Progression questions

What is the progression order in Alliance Tower Defense?

Easy (City) → Medium (Wild Desert) → Hard (Canyon Bridge) → Crazy → Insane (Camera Lab) → Insane Endless. Each rung roughly triples the Coin reward, and Insane starts paying Scientist Crates, which feed the economy units every later team wants.

When should I move to the next mode?

When the current mode is boring, not just beatable. The community rule of thumb: probe a new map in 1-player at its lowest difficulty, and only raise players or difficulty after one clean solo clear. If a mode still requires your full attention, it is not your farm yet.

How long does it take to get a Mythic?

At a documented 0.1% rate, a 10-pull per 850 Coins, and pity at 1,000 summons, the worst case is roughly 85,000 Coins of pulls. With 100–1,000 Coins per clear and X2 title windows, plan the Mythic chase in weeks of farming, not days — and consider trading instead.

What should I unlock first: units or modes?

Modes. Mode unlocks pay the Coins that fund everything else, and Insane's Scientist Crate reward (95% Scientist Camera Man) upgrades your economy without a single summon.

Step-by-step: the ladder in order

  1. 1. Easy City until a maxed Camera Man is routine and the 100-Coin clear is boring.
  2. 2. Medium (275 Coins) once your carry one-shots Easy waves — same placement rules.
  3. 3. Crazy (1,000 Coins + Spin Ticket) when Medium pays without effort; the Ticket chases DJ Speaker Man.
  4. 4. Insane (850 Coins + Scientist Crate) with the economy checklist, then Endless for the leaderboard.

If you're stuck

A wall at Crazy is almost always a Coin problem, not a skill problem — farm the previous rung until the upgrade total the checklist names is affordable without thinking.

Common mistakes

Choosing modes by map art instead of payout, skipping the Scientist Crate economy, and climbing into a mode your roster cannot cover before farming the rung below it.
